3926 | Simon's World War I draft registration card indicates that he was born in 1897. However, it is believe that the 1898 date is correct since many young men misrepresented their age. For World War II, there was no reason for Simon to not use his correct date of birth since he forty-three and unlikely to be drafted. | Hollier, Simon John (I3640)

3936 | Some derivative records appear to indicate that Oramel may have been born in Thetford, Vermont while others indicate Lebanon, Connecticut. Since his other siblings were born in Lebanon combined with the fact that his father Charles never permanently settled in Thetford, we are assuming that he was probably born in Lebanon. Furthermore, there are some discrepancies for Col. Orramel's date of birth. On source lists his birth as 29 feb 1766, but 1766 is not a leap year. The correct date may have been 1768 as indicated by most sources, but this date has not been reliably verified. | Hinckley, Colonel Oramel (I1285)
