Although George's headstone inscription notes his date of birth as 01 Apr 1873, this is believed to be in error. His actual date of birth is believed to be April 1874 as indicated by census records. Furthermore, he was about one year younger than his brother, Frank, who was born in 1873.

ROGER -- On Sunday morning, May 3, 1908, at 6 o'clock, at
Arnaudville, La.,
GEORGE LOUIS ROGER, Jr., only child of George Louis Roger
and Evelyn McNulty Babers, aged 3 months and 17 days.

The funeral took place Monday Morning at 11 o'clock from the home
of the parents.
