Anthony Hollier 76, of Groves passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Anthony was born January 17, 1938 in Leonville, Louisiana to Arthur Hollier and Marie Celima Hollier. He was a resident of Groves for 44 years and a member of the United Methodist Temple. Anthony was an Accountant for Rental Services and a member of the Port Arthur Evening Sertoma Club. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1970. He was preceded in death by his two brothers Pierre Hollier and Mitchell Hollier, two sisters Alice Bauer and Lillie Mae Bauer and a daughter-in-law Jennifer Hollier. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Temple in Port Arthur with Reverend Jeff Hastings officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Anthony is survived by his wife Barbara Hollier of Groves, sons Patrick Hollier and wife Kelly of Houston, TX. Thomas Hollier of Kingwood, TX. Joseph Hollier and wife Melanie of Manvel, TX. and stepson Warren Sanders of Houston, TX., step daughter Susanne Read of Reeves, Louisiana, sister Lucy Lalonde of Port Arthur, brothers John Hollier and wife Anna Lee of Lafayette, Louisiana, Albert Hollier and wife Flo of Leonville, Louisiana, grandchildren Kaityn, Kelly, Peyton, Carson, Hannah Hollier, Samantha Smith, Marshall Cox, great grandchild Isaac Smith and step grandchildren Meagan, Brett, and Karah Sanders. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Temple.

"His lord said unto him, Well done, you good and faithful servant…enter into the joy of your lord." (Matt. 25:21) Mitchell Hollier, 82, of Baton Rouge, LA, went peacefully to be with God on Friday, April 27, 2012. He was born in Arnaudville, LA on September 19, 1929; he served in the Army and then received a BS degree in Chemistry from USL and married Barbara Stelly. They resided in Beaumont, TX and had 4 children before settling in Baton Rouge in 1975. He was retired from Entergy but stayed very active in the community serving on the Groundwater Commission; as Election Commissioner and President of various organizations such as Lagniappe and Sideliners. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara Hollier; daughters, Angel Hollier, Jenny Kimbrough, Monique Livingston and son, Jude Hollier; 6 grandchildren: Cory Kimbrough, Kristen Kimbrough, Josh Kimbrough, Colby Dean, Marissa Livingston, and Colton Hollier; a sister, Lucy Lalonde; and 3 brothers, John Hollier, Anthony Hollier, and Albert Hollier. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Celima Lalonde Hollier, and his father, Arthur Hollier; 2 sisters, Alice Bauer and Lilliemae Bauer, and a brother, Pierre Hollier. The family wishes to thank the staff at St Joseph's Hospice Hospital, The Carpenter House, for their compassionate care and support during a very difficult time. A Mass and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church on N. Sherwood Forest Blvd in Baton Rouge, LA.
