April 24, 1805 after three publications of banns made on the [—] of our parish mission by three days of Sunday consecutive as well as that of the parish of New Orleans without hindrance or opposition come to our knowledge as it appears by the certificate of the Father Antoine, parish priest of the said town, dated today and signed by him.
We, the undersigned parish priest, gave the nuptial blessing to Louis Dufilho, who, under his oath taken before the mayor and one of the justices of peace of New Orleans on 13 April 1805, proved to us that we had never contracted any marriage, major son of Jean Dufilho and Jeanne Marie Bonnet, his legitimate father and mother, native of Mirande in Gascogne, France and domiciled in New Orleans on the one hand and Miss Delphine Marmellon, minor daughter of Mr. Pierre Marmellon [Marmillon] and of Mrs. Françoise Haidelle [Haydel], her legitimate father and mother, present and consenting, native and domiciled in this parish on the other hand.
Were present at the Celebration of this wedding George Haydelle [Haydel], Jean Chevalier [Cru?]migny, Jean Jacques Haydelle [Haydel], Maximilien Beknelle [Becnel] and several parents and friends who said they knew the said spouses, their ages, their homes and their freedoms and who signed with us.
