E.M. HOLLIER
VINTON—Edward Milton Hollier, 69, of 1707 Perry Street, died at 12:02 a.m. today in his residence. The body is at the Hixson funeral home in Sulphur where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton with Rev. A. Gilbert, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods cemetery at Edgerly. Mr. Hollier was a native of Abbeville and had lived in Vinton 41 years. He was a retired oilfield worker. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ovelia Pierce Hollier; one son, J.A. Hollier Sr. of Groves, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Edward Hollier of Vinton; five sisters, Mrs. Paula Blanco of Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. Witney Hebert and Mrs. Clovis Duhon, both of Port Arthur, Texas; Mrs. Albert Lawes of Houston; and Mrs. Dalbert Burleigh of Sulphur; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
