Janet Morgan Hollier passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021 at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Pierre Roy Hollier, Jr.; six children and their spouses, Charlotte and Bill Roger, Belinda and J C "Buddy" Aaron, Lisa and Louis Poirrier, Roy and Rocio Hollier, John and Christy Hollier, Toby and Angela Hollier; grandchildren Joseph, Kyle, Jana, Morgan, Mikala, Taylor, Lea Anne, Emily, Kaelyn, Pierre, Matthew, MacKenzie, Maggie, Luke; great grandchildren Baylea, Emma, Nora; and brother William Morgan, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents William Morgan and Geneva DeBate Lebans; sister Elma Louise LeBeau; and infant son Michael Paul Hollier. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved cooking, spending time with her family, fishing, and dancing with the love of her life. She touched many with her kindness and generosity. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 2pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge under the Liberty Gazebo (casual attire). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Dream Day Foundation, benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
