Notes: Jedidiah Strong was a farmer at Northampton until 1709, when at the age of about 70 years moved with his family to Coventry, Connecticut. During the years 1677-1669 he was paid 18 shillings a year for blowing the trumpet on Sunday to summon people to church. He was also constable in 1683.
