Notes: Mrs. Moise Hollier and her 15 year old daughter Genevieve of Opelousas were injured Sunday night when the car which Mr. Hollier was driving was said to have been sideswiped by another car driven by Flourney Pershing of Lafayette. The accident occurred on the Opelousas-Port Barre highway as the Pershing car was being driven toward Opelousas and the Hollier were en route to Port Barre. Mrs. Hollier and her daughter received lacerations about the head but were removed to their home after being treated at the St. Landry clinic. Mr. Hollier and Mr. Pershing escaped injury and four other children of the Holliers in the car at the time, received only [end of article].
