    Church Point - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, La. for Norwood P. LeJeune, 66, who passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 7:35 a.m. at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley, La.
    Fr. Bala will be officiating for the services.
    The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Monday, February 18, 2013, from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in the St. Edward Church Cemetery in Richard, La.
    Norwood was born in Richard, La. to Cary J. and Adele T. LeJeune.
    He is survived by his wife of forty five years, Shirley S. LeJeune of Richard; three daughters, Stephanie and husband, Sam Hebert of Allen, Tx., Amanda LeJeune of Dallas, Tx. and Melissa and husband, David Himel of Austin, Tx.; five grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Jason, Dylan, Drake, and Davin; four great-grandchildren, Annabel, Kaiden, Jocelyn and Estella; three brothers, Cary and wife, Cheryl LeJeune, Andrew and wife, Pamela LeJeune and Steven and wife, Rosilyn LeJeune all of Church Point; five sisters, Janelle and husband, Alvin Jagneaux of Lafayette, Norma Olivier of Church Point, Lorita and husband John Richard of Branch, Velma and husband, Norman Trahan of Church Point and Ellie and husband, Dennis Lavergne of Opelousas.
    Norwood was preceded in death by his parents, Cary and Adele, LeJeune; one brother, Darryl LeJeune.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard for Shirley Smith LeJeune, 67 who passed away at her home in Allen, TX on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 7:37 A.M.
    Fr. Wayne Duet, Pastor of St. Edward Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. Edward Catholic Church Cemetery in Richard.
    The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:30 A. M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 7 o’clock in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
    Survivors include three daughters, Stephanie and husband, Sam Hebert of Wortham, TX.; Amanda LeJeune of Dallas, TX and Melissa and husband, David Himel of Austin, TX.; five grandchildren, Jacquelyn and husband, Dan Hall, Jason and wife, Courtney Hebert, Dylan Himel, Drake Himel, and Davin Himel; six great-grandchildren, Daniel, Annabel, Jocelyn, Estella, Jaxson, and Kaiden; two brothers, Donald and wife, Karleen Smith of Cankton and Danny Smith of Church Point; two sisters, Nellie and husband, Bernard Venable of Lafayette and Dorothy LeJeune of Eunice.
    Ms. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Norwood Paul LeJeune; her parents, Elton and Lucy Hollier Smith; one sister, Belle Smith Bourgeois and two infant siblings.
