Vera Ladner Olier, age 90, of Kiln, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Olier was a native of Hancock County, a resident of Biloxi for many years and has lived in Kiln since 1971. She was employed for many years with Marvard's Seafood Factory in Biloxi and she was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, White Cypress.
She was a kind, generous and loving woman and will be greatly missed by all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Olier; infant daughter, Vera Marie Olier; 4 brothers, Ora J. Ladner, Hayward E. Ladner, Jimmie Ladner and Dennis J. Ladner; and 4 sisters, Irene L. Moran, Mildred L. Smith, Relia L. Harriel and Velma Ladner.
Survivors include her 2 brothers, Winfred G. Ladner and Howard R. Ladner; 2 sisters, Neva L. Olier and Betty L. Ladner and husband Pat; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 Noon, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 27074 St. Matthew Church Rd. in White Cypress Community. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon. Burial next to her husband will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou. Riemann Family Funeral Home, Kiln DeLisle Road is in charge and memories.
