U. S., in 1850, and Collector of Customs for the Penobscot District, Me. (1849-1869). He m. May 19, 1830, Sarah Fish Wilcox b. Dec. 21, 1809 (dau. of Hon. Jeduthun Wilcox of Orford, and Elizabeth Todd). He d. at Bluehill, Dec. 17, 1869.
