Funeral Held in Houma Wednesday For Jos. Dufilho
Funeral services for Joseph Dufilho, 72, of Houma, former resident of Opelousas, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday In Houma. Dufilho Is survived by his wife, the former Joyce Boren of Pollock, and two brothers, Charles and Roger Dufilho both of Opelousas.
Attending funeral services from Opelousas were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dufilho, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dufilho, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dufilho, Mr. and Mrs. Havard Burleigh, Charles Dufilho and Mrs. Stella Harmon and Mrs. Hattie Wartelle of Erwinville.

Joyce Boren Dufilho
Services for Joyce Boren Dufilho will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. Louis Gagnard officiating. Entombment will be at 3 p.m. in Holy Rosary Mausoleum, Houma.
Mrs. Dufilho, 93, of Pineville died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was a native of Pollock and a homemaker. She was also a volunteer “grandparent” at Pinecrest State School for 10 years. She was a member of the immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Tioga.
A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. until time of services Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Tioga.
