Birth:
The date of birth in the volumes of the Diocese of Baton Rouge Catholic Church Records has a transcription error. It notes Julitte's year of birth as 1760 instead of 1769. The information from the original register states Julitte was "né le douze Decembre de l'année mille sept soixante neuf" or in English "born twelve December of the year seventeen sixty-nine".

Further evidence in support of this is the fact that she is listed in the Opelousas census of 1771 as age one, and again in the 1777 census as age seven.
