    Walton J. Hollier, Sr.
    Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church for Walton Joseph Hollier, Sr., 69, who died at 2 p.m. Saturday in Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his widow, the former Enice Lege of Abbeville; three sons, Wilson and Walton Hollier, Jr., both of Abbeville, and John Doles Hollier of Port Sulphur; one daughter, Mrs. Cres Broussard of LaPorte, Tx.; six sisters, Mrs. Roy Hollier and Mrs. Eudor Abshire, both of Abbeville, Mrs. Avery Abshire, Miss Leonie Hollier, and Mrs. Wilson Hargrave, all of Kaplan, and Mrs. Eris Seaux of New Iberia; two brothers, Alpha Hollier of Abbeville, and D. M. Hollier of Beaumont, Tx; and 11 grandchildren. Burial was in the Kaplan Catholic Cemetery with Vincent Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Kaplan-Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Dylan James Hollier, 22, who died Friday, October 22, 2021. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services. He is survived by his mother, Rachelle Renee Dubois of Kaplan; his father, Jeff Hollier of Cow Island; his sister, Karlie Kober of Kaplan; his two brothers, Blake Joseph Hollier of Kaplan and Avery Kober of Kaplan; his paternal grandfather, Wilson Hollier and his wife, Virginia; his maternal grandparents, Jarvis Dubois and Shirley Dartez; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his stepfather, Todd Kober. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rochelle Hollier; his paternal grandmother, Mary McMellon; his great grandparents, Murphy Joseph Dartez and Emily Matthews Dartez; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Avery Dubois; and his two cousins, Kassia Williams and Duke McMellon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM.

She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Romero, Caleb Hollier, Jesse Hernandez, Robert LeMay, Spencer Clayton and D.J. Harrington. She is survived by her mother, Tessia Broussard LeBouef and her husband, Quinten of Maurice; her father, Jeffery Hollier of Forked Island; her paternal grandparents, Wilson Hollier of Forked Island and Mary McMellon of Intracoastal City; maternal grandparents, Harold and Marlene Broussard of Kaplan, Claudette Simon of Sunset and Darwin LeBouef of Kaplan; two brothers, Dylan and Blake Hollier; one sister, Valerie LeBouef; godfather, Shane Romero of Kaplan; godmother, Tandra Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Fernand and Mable Broussard and Edier and Beulah Trahan; her cousins, Jon Hollier, Matt Trahan and Duke McMellon. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Iberia Bank to help defray medical and funeral expenses. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, September 28, from 8 a.m. until services.
