Godefroy Boudousquie, a native of New Orleans, Major's son of the late Antoine Boudousquie and the late Perine Trepagnier, formerly of New Orleans promised to marry Eulalie Emeranthe Bernoudy.A native of New Orleans, major daughter of Bernard Bernoudy, resident of St. Charles Parish and the late Marie-Jeanne Robin de Logny. Witnesses for Boudousquie were Francois Levasseur, Jean-Jacques Orgnon Duplessis and Pierre Zenon Boudousquie, brother of the future groom. Witnesses for Bernoudy were Bernard Bernoudy, her father, Francois Piseros, Alexandre de L'Homme, and Bernard Trosnaulet. The future bride brought to the marriage a sum of $3,500 in the form of a note owed her by her father and $500 cash. The future groom also brought $3,500 to the marriage, being $1,500 inheritance and $2,000 of his own money. Signing the contract, in addition to the names mentioned, were Destrehan, Jacques Charbonnet, Adelard Fortier, Widow LeBreton, Bernoudy Piseros, Bernoudy Charbonnet,Bernoudy Fortier, and Widow Roony.
