Services Held Here Thursday Afternoon for Mrs. Adolph Hollier, Former Antonio Dufilho
Funeral services were held here Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Adolph Hollier of Houston, former Opelousas resident, who died Wednesday morning following a lingering illness. Mrs. Hollier was the sister of Roger Dufilho of this city, whose son-in-law, Gordon Fletcher, died Tuesday in Houston.
Mrs. Hollier’s body was brought to Lafond and Son Funeral Home Wednesday night. Services were read at the local Catholic Church and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
She was the former Antonio Josephine Dufilho, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dufilho of Opelousas.
Mr. Fletcher succumbed Tuesday at a Houston hospital following a major operation. His wife is the former Elese Dufilho of this city. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in Houston.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dufilho and their son, Alvin Dufilho, attended services and are expected to return here during today.
