Mrs. Quirk Buried At Washington
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday for Mrs. Daniel Quirk. 91. the former Aimee “DeDe” Dufilho, of Washington.
She died at 11 p.m. Saturday following an illness of several months.
Father Patrick Regan officiated at services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, with Lafond and Son Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Quirk was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Washington for 67 years. She is survived by one son, Ned Quirk of Washington; and four brothers, John, Roger, and Charles Dufilho, all of Opelousas, and Joseph Dufilho of Houma. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
