Leon P. Dufilho and Louis E. Dufilho Died
Leon P. Dufilho died at Shreveport, La., on the 14th of April. 1932, and Louis E. Dufilho on the 12th of March, 1932, the sons of Leon Dufilho (deceased) and Cecile Normand. They leave a mother. Mrs. Cecile Dufilho, a sister, Miss Maria Dufilho of Shreveport, and a sister, Mrs. G. Shackleford, of Pineville, La.
They were born in Cloutierville, La., Leon on the 16th of April 1879, and Louis on December 17, 1879. They resided in the city of Natchitoches, Alexandria and Shreveport, La., all their lives, where they have numerous relatives and friends, both being likeable and sunny in their dispositions. Both men were of the Catholic faith and received communion in that faith before they died. Resting side by side in the cemetery they lay a few weeks between their deaths, as they had lived in life, trusting in the promise of their Lord.

Leon P. Dufilho, aged 51, resident of Shreveport for 14 years, died at his home at 1715 Stonewall street, Thursday at 2:05 a. m., after a long illness. The funeral will be held at 4 p. m. Friday from the residence of E. M. Tennell at 1450 Woodrow street. Services will be conducted by Rev. Father Farrell of St. John's Catholic church and interment will be In St. Joseph’s cemetery. Deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. Cecile Dufilho, and two sisters, Miss Marie of Shreveport, and Mrs. Gus Shackelford of Pineville, La., and a number of nieces and nephews. The Ahearn funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
