Funeral for Chas. Dufilho To Be Friday
Funeral services for Charles J. Dufilho, 85. of Opelousas, will be held at a mass Friday at 3 p.m. at St. Landry Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher Mausoleum.
Dufilho died at 12:05 a.m. today at Opelousas General Hospital following an illness of several weeks. His body is at Lafond and Son Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight.
A native of New Orleans, Dufilho had made his home in Opelousas since childhood. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dufilho’s only survivors are nieces and nephews.
