SCOTT - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Eva Robin, 89, the former Eva Hollier, who died at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, at the Rayne Guest House in Rayne, La.Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Scott. The Rev. Mark Melancon, associate pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will be the celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Joni Hamilton, organist, will sing for the funeral services, "On Eagles' Wings", "The Old Rugged Cross", "Be Not Afraid", "Ave Maria" and "Amazing Grace". A native and lifelong resident of Scott, Mrs. Robin was a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she was a member of the Lady's Altar Society.Survivors include her daughter, Marie Gary, of Scott; one son, Ray Robin and his wife, Delores, of Scott; one brother, Alfredge Hollier and his wife, Bertha; seven grandchildren, Vicki Foster, Randy and Tony Gary, Terry Hebert, Constance Marie Robin, John Ray Robin Jr. and Jason Robin; six greatgrandchildren, Mitchell Gary, Chris Foster, Uriah Gary, Nicole Arsement, Chantell Prejean and Kristin Hebert; and four great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Levey Robin; mother, Constance Arceneaux Hollier; father, Placide Hollier; two sons, Dallas and James Robin; and two daughters, Betty R. Hebert and Irene R. Goodwin. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. this evening in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Scott.Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and will continue from 8 a.m. Saturday until service time. Pallbearers will be Jason Robin, Terry Hebert, Randy Gary, Christopher Foster, Uriah Gary and Jesse Brown.Honorary pallbearers will be John Robin Sr. and John Robin Jr. The Robin family would like to give special thanks to Kelly Sensat Robin.
