Cecile loved to dance and met Leon at a dance in Duson and that dance turned into a 64 year marriage. As a young couple, they bought Leon's Lounge in Duson, which became known, not only for a great dancing spot, but for the best hamburgers around. Cecile loved to cook, she made the best sweet dough pies, fried chicken, and corn maque choux. She loved to sew and created many patch quilts for her family. Cecile and Leon really enjoyed their trips to Europe, and cruises after their well deserved retirement years.
