Deceased Name: HOLLIER, EMERY CLAUDE
Died 10:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 1993, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 74, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1952. He was a retired Blue Cross employee and part-time professional actor, having appeared in many little theater plays, radio and TV commercials and several movies. He was a U.S. Marine Corps captain during World War II. Visiting was held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting after 10 a.m. until religious services at the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by Dr. Brad Curry. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Carol Earles Hollier, Baton Rouge; four daughters, Claudia Richartz, Tierre Verda, Fla., Sandy Langston, Pittsburgh, Pa., Gabi Ward, Baton Rouge, and Emonique Peddy, Lafayette; three stepsons, Tommy Jenkins, Denham Springs, Michael Jenkins, Geismar, and Don Jenkins, Mandeville; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Hollier.
