L. Bourgeois services are held today
JENNINGS, La. — Funeral services were held today for Louis Bourgeois, 77, of Jennings, who died at his home following a lengthy illness.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
A native of Abbeville, he was a World War I veteran and had lived in Jennings for 61 years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lorene Hollier Bourgeois of Jennings; one son, Lloyd Bourgeois of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Rena Laurents of Bossier City; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Toups and Mrs. Susan Toups, both of Kaplan; one brother, Etiene Bourgeois of New Orleans, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
