ABBEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church
honoring the life of Dorothy Broussard Hollier, 90, who died Thursday,
Sept. 8, 2005, at her residence in Abbeville.The Rev. Neil McNeill,
L.C., will officiate the services. The Rev. William Blanda and
Monsignor Glenn Provost will concelebrate.She will be laid to rest at
St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.She is survived by a daughter, Patricia
McNeill, of Abbeville; a son, Royce Hollier and his wife, Patty, of
Houston; a brother, Joseph Broussard, of Kaplan; a sister, Goldie
Landry, of Kaplan; three grandsons, the Rev. Neil McNeill, L.C.,
Barrett Hollier and Jason Hollier and his wife, Kimberly Meaux
Hollier; and a great-grandson, Samuel Luke Hollier.She was preceded
in death by her husband, Leonard Hollier; parents, Hazard Broussard
and Eliza Landry Broussard.A rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. at St.
Mary Magdalen Catholic Church prior to the service.In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalen Capital Campaign, P.O.
Drawer U, Abbeville, LA, 70511; or Helping Hand Medical Mission,
P.O. Box 140847, Irving, Texas, 75014.All arrangements are being
