Lula Mae Hollier
March 13, 1921 - June 17, 2008
MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Lula Mae Hollier, 87, of Duralde, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Friday, June 20. Burial followed in the Ortego Cemetery. Ms. Hollier died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include three sons, Donald Chapman and Stafford Hollier, both of Dry Creek, and James Hollier of Denver, Colorado; two daughters, Wilda David of Duralde and Magretta Johnson of Mamou; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Octave Hollier; one son, Lee Bert Hollier; her parents, Eugee and Eve Landreneau; and one great-grandson, Hunter David. Father Bob Courville officiated.
