Funeral Services Held Wednesday for Mrs. Hollier
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church for Mrs. Ernestine Hollier, 59, who died a t 4:30 a. m. Tuesday in a Beaumont hospital. Requiem mass was said at the church a t 7 a. m. Wednesday. Rosary was recited Tuesday night in the Sheffield Funeral home chapel. Mrs. Hollier was a native of Louisiana. She lived in Port Neches for 45 years and was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. The Rev. C. P. Sullivan, pastor of the church officiated. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park a t Port Arthur under the direction of Sheffield Funeral Home. Pallbearers were J. J. Matherne, U. R. Flurry, Carl Guidry, Lawrence Vollmer, N. P. Hollier and Leonard Hollier. Survivors include two sons, First Lt. Oscar Hollier of Camp Gordon, Ga., and Francis Hollier of Port Neches; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Crawford and Mrs. S. J. Zipprich, Port Neches; three brothers, E. W. Lee and Frank Lee, Port Neches and James Lee of Groves; five sisters, Mrs. T. E. Bruce, Port Neches, Mrs. U. R. Flurry, Groves, Mrs. J. J. Matherne, Nederland, and Mrs. Ed Vollmer and Mrs. Thomas DeHart of Abbeville, La.; and eight grandchildren.
