Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday, March 24, 2008 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Grand Prairie for Wilfred "Lee' Hollier, 76 who passed away Thursday March 20, 2008 at Ville Platte Medical Cener.
Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.
Mr. Hollier was a veteren of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea. He was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church, and served as an usher, and Lay Minister. Mr. Hollier enjoyed the outdoors, campmig hunting fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Cecile Lafleur Hollier of Grand Prairie, four daughters, Yvette Smith and her husband Elter of Grand Prairie, Danita H. Bourque and husband Larry of Eunice, Helen Hollier and her companion G Craig Fontenot of Ville Platte, and Janet H. Boullion and husband Glenn of Crowley, one brother, James Hollier and wife Jean of Alexandria, a sister, Ruth Robin of Leonville, eleven grandchildren, Chad, Justin, and Alex Smith, Brandon Bourque and his wife Ashley, and Adrienne and Lauren Bourque, Chauncey Fontenot, and Emily, Olivia, Katie, and Abigail Boullion, and three great grandchildren, Conner, Jay Owen, and Madeline.

LEONVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Merida Richard Durio, 94, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Durio, a resident of Arnaudville, died Thursday, June 17, 1999, in Doctors' Hospital of Opelousas. Survivors include: two sons, Lee Hollier and his wife, Cecile, of Grand Prairie and James Hollier and his wife, Jean, of Alexandria; a daughter, Ruth Robin and her husband, Emile, of Leonville; a stepdaughter, Elaine Trahan of Scott; a sister, Octavia Stelly of Arnaudville; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; six step grandchildren; and nine step great-grandchildren. Mrs. Durio was preceded in death by her husbands, Warren Durio and Ovide Hollier; her father, Alcee Richard; her mother, Alexidriene M. Richard; and her granddaughter, Tammy Credeur. Visiting hours will be observed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Saturday until time of services. Pellerin's Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
