MAMOU–A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 for Armance H. Tate at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou with Fr. Mark Melancon Celebrant.
She is survived by one son, Bob W. Tate and wife, Joline of Dallas, TX; one daughter, Bell Deshotel and husband, Lear of Mamou LA; one brother, Elvin Hollier of Lafayette, LA; three grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Ms. Armance was preceded in death by her husband, Kimley Tate, her parents, Adam and Adalaide Hollier, one daughter, Callie Daigle, five brothers, Joseph, Allen, Tim, Burke and Mayance and two sisters, Inez Thompson and Meldia Fontenot.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. Thursday Morning.
