Opelousas, Dec. 3 (Spl.)—Funeral services were held Friday morning for Marcial Durio, 72 year-old planter, who died at his home in Prairie Ronde following a brief illness.
Father Wilson Matt officiated at services at the Prairie Ronde Catholic church and burial was in the adjacent cemetery with Lafond and Son in charge.
Durio is survived by his wife, the former Altha Hollier; one sister, Mrs. Alice Joubert of Oberlin; and 12 stepchildren.
