Aristile "A.J." Hollier, Jr.
OPELOUSAS - Private graveside services were held for Aristile "A.J." Hollier, Jr. at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Hollier, age 85, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Senior Village Nursing Home.
Aristile served his country proudly in the United States Army in the German Occupation. He retired as an electrician in the oilfield. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
Survivors are his son, Daniel L. Hollier of Gulf Shores, AL; his daughter, Lynn Hollier Marks and husband, Lennie, of Opelousas, LA and his sisters, Alice Hollier Guidroz of Opelousas, LA and Mathilde Hollier Guidry of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Angela Nezat, John L. Hollier, Elizabeth Streiferd and Damien L. Hollier and 2 great-grandchildren Brennan Nezat and Alexander Streiferd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aristile Hollier, Sr. and Celeste Brasseaux Hollier; one brother and four sisters.

Obituary
A mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mildred Moreau Guidry on Monday December 14, 2009 at 11:00 am in Our Lady Queen of Angel's Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA., followed by the interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Monsignor Louis Melancon will conduct the services.
Mrs. Guidry a resident of Opelousas, age 79 died Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:15 pm at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas. She worked at the St. Landry Clinic as an L.P.N. She was devoted to her family and especially her great grandchild, she loved flowers and gardening. She traveled all of the United States and most of Europe and acted as an interpreter while in Europe.
Survivors include son: Daniel "Danny" Hollier of Gulf Shores, AL, daughter: Linda "Lynn" Hollier Marks and husband Lennie of Opelousas, brother: B.J. Moreau and wife Nancy of Lawtell, sisters: Lou Rae Guillory of Nederland, TX. and Merle Fontenot and husband Eugenel of Ville Platte, grandchildren: Angela Marks Nezat (husband: Chad) of Baton Rouge, LA, Elizabeth Marks Streiferd (husband: Robert, of Granbury, TX, Damien Hollier & John Hollier of Birmingham, AL and a great grandchild: Brennan Nezat. Her former husband: A.J. Hollier of Opelousas.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Lorris Moreau and Elvina Bergeron Moreau; and her 2nd husband: Hanson Guidry.
