Ray C. Keeth
Services for Ray C. Keeth, 80, 150 Swede Ave., will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Osborn Funeral Home chapel with the Rev, A. J. Vos. pastor of Swan Lake Baptist Church, officiating Burial will be in Forest Park West.
A Shreveport resident for two years. Mr. Keeth died at 5 p.m. Monday in Guest House Nursing Home following a lengthy Illness. He was a native of Ardmore. Okla., and was a former resident of Austin, Tex.
Mr. Keeth was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of El Karubah Shrine, Muskogee Chapter 3, Royal Arch Masons, Muskogee Council 2, Royal and Select Masters, Muskogee Commandery 2, Knights Templar.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vivian Keeth; a daughter, Jere A. Keeth of Shreveport; a brother, L. R. Keeth of Marshall, Tex.; and three sisters, Mrs. Alvis Johnson of Amarillo, Tex., Mrs. Margaret Roberts of Lincoln, Neb., and Neva Keeth of Sentinel, Okla.

Miss Jere A. Keeth
SHREVEPORT - Miss Jerelyn "Jere" A. Keeth. died at LSU Medical Center on Saturday, December 28, 1996, after a brief illness. Visitation will be held at Osborn Funeral Home on Monday, December 30th from 6 until 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday, December 31st from 8 until 10 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with the Reverend Guido F. Verbeck, III officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. A reception will follow the services at St. Paul’s Episcopal Parish Hall.
Miss Keeth was a member of the Episcopal Church and the teaching profession. Her teaching career has included elementary and secondary schools in both Texas and Louisiana, most recently in Midway Middle School in Shreveport.
Miss Keeth was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian M. Keeth, and her father, Ray C. Keeth.
She is survived by many friends and relatives.
Pallbearers will be Tim Rich, Todd Rich, Terry Partain, Clint Partain, Rusty Squyres and Jay Squyres.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Pinkley, Steve Whatley and Jonathan Rich II.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be to the Jere Keeth Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 18037, Shreveport. LA. 71138.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Doctors and staff of LSU Medical Center.
