SHACKELFORD—Mrs. Nona R. Shackelford, 77, died at the residence of her son, Peter H. Shackelford, in Alexandria at 5:30 a.m. today, Dec. 29,1948. Born July 4, 1871 in Cloutierville, La., she was the widow of Gus Shackelford. Survivors include one son, Peter H. Shackelford, and five nephews, Sam Shackelford, Leon and Louis Dufilho, all of Shreveport, Normand and Alfred Dufilho, both of Longview, Tex. The body is at Hixson Bros. funeral home. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a. m. Thursday at Hixson Bros. Chapel. Interment will be in Bethel cemetery.
