Curley Benoit, Jr.

RAYNE ~ Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Curley Benoit, Jr., age 78, who passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his residence in Rayne.
Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. Pastor Don LaBro will officiate at the services.
Mr. Benoit was a native of Carencro and a resident of Rayne for thirty-five years. He was in the tower industry for over fifty years having worked for Jay’s Radio, Daley Tower Service, Lafayette Tower Service and retired at Custom Tower LLC.
Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, the former Janice Thibodeaux; two sons, Ricky Guidry and his wife, Dharshani, and Robert Joseph Benoit and his wife, Patty, all of Rayne; two daughters, Sheila Baudoin and her husband, Wayne, of Carencro and Lori Ann Forestier and her husband, Daniel, of Duson; ten grandchildren, Hunter Guidry, Brandy LeBlanc and her husband, Lance, Bridget Guilliot and her husband, Hardy, Bradley Baudoin, Wendy Baudoin, Joshua Benoit and his wife, Victoria, Jordan Benoit and his wife, Jordan, Brandon Guidry, Stephanie Stevens and Cody Stevens; eleven great grandchildren, Devin Thibodeaux, Hydiee Foreman, Gabbie Annabelle Foreman, Lucas Lofton, Ayla Stevens, Catherine Guilliot, Sebastian Guillot, Zachariah Guillot, Emma Lavergne, Nova Lee Guidry and Nathan Lavergne; one brother, Kenneth Benoit and his wife, Connie, of Cankton; two sisters, Judy Choplin and Cheryl Hebert both of Lafayette; one half-brother, Alexis Benoit; and one half-sister, Leah Benoit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curley J. Benoit, Sr. and the former Mary Hollier both natives of Carencro; two brothers, Gerald Benoit and Errol Benoit; and one sister, Janelle Benoit.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
