Milbert J. St. Amand
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home, Old Sunset Highway, for Mr Milbert J. St. Amand, 68, of Whiteville. He died at 11 a.m. Saturday at his residence.
Mr. St. Amand was a farmer. He was nicknamed the “Boray King of Elks Lodge.”
Burial will be at the Cedar Hills Cemetery, Washington. Visitation was scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include: his wife. Mrs. Stella Lee St. Amand of Washington; two sons, Larry J. St. Amand and J. Bennett St. Amand, both of Whiteville; two brothers, Earnst St. Amand of Opelousas, and Edward “Eddie” St. Amand of Richmond, Va.; four sisters. Mrs. Paul (Rita) St. Amand, Mrs. Garland (Mary Lee) St. Amand, and Mrs. Ed (Thelma) Culbertson, all of Opelousas, and Mrs. Edwin (Joy) Sink of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home, Old Sunset Highway is directing.
