Edmee Louise German
(April 1, 1924 - July 5, 2007)
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at an 11:00 a.m. Word Service in Melancon Funeral Home Chapel for Edmee German, age 83, the former Edmee Harmon, who passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Clear Lake Regional in Webster, TX.
Interment will be in St. Landry Cemetery. The Rev. Msgr. Robert Romero, pastor of St. Landry Catholic Church will officiate at the services.
Ms. German was a native of Church Point and a resident of Livonia for 16 years. She is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served from 1950-1952. Ms. German enjoyed baking holiday snacks for State Police Troops K and I.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Jo Wilson and her husband Patrick of WY; two brothers, Ret. Col. Marsden Harmon of VA, and William Childs Harmon Jr. of Donville, IL; one sister, Stella Rita Dahmann of Church Point; three grandchildren, James Patrick German, Heather German Cronk and her husband Harley, and Renee Louise German; and three great-grandchildren, Lauren and Victoria Cronk, and Kaitlyn German.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Childs Harmon Sr. and mother, the former Mary Stella Lambert; one son, James Carroll German; one sister, Evelyn Larmoyeaux; and a godchld, Anthony Norman Dohmann.
Pallbearers will be James German, Chad Major, Maurice Wolcott, Harley Cronk, and Ret. Col. Joey Booth.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Survived by mother, Edmee German; two daughters, Renee German, Heather Marie German; a son, James P. German, all of Maringouin. Preceded in death by father, John C. German; and a brother, Charles D. German.
