Michel BARRIERE: "Ce 'NAUTE,' je ne l'ay jamais connu, que sous le nome de SAXE, au bas des Atakapas ou il restait et l'ay peutetre ecrit 'JOKS'; mais j'ay su depuis quitant Saxon on la appelle SACX ne sachant son autre nom. BARRIERE, pretre." [This 'NAUTE,' I never knew him but under the name SAXE, at lower Atakapas where he lived and I may have written his name as JOKS; but I have learned, since leaving Saxon (Saxony is the region in southeast East Germany) he was called SACX, not knowing his other name.] See perhaps Marcellite JHAUX - p.398.
