Mrs. Rita Boudreaux, 76, of 2219 Woodrow, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary Hospital. A native of Breaux Bridge, La., she lived in the Port Arthur area 61 years. She was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. St. Catherine’s Altar Society, Missionary Rose Petals, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Mary Hospital Auxiliary, and celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband Maurice Boudreaux in 1971. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 Monday in the Grammier-Oberle 39th St. Chapel. Survivors include her husband Maurice Boudreaux; one daughter, Mrs. Myrline Dorsey of Port Arthur; two sisters, Mrs. Anita Hannan and Mrs. Rose LeBlanc of Port Arthur; eight grandchildren, Mrs. Di Anne Shippey of Port Neches, Randy Dorsey of Pasadena, Mrs. Cindy Gaspard of Port Arthur, Don Dorsey of Houston, Mrs. Melissa Domingue, Mary Dorsey, Jill Dorsey, and Rita Dorsey of Port Arthur; six great grandchildren, Bryan Shippey of Port Neches, Shane Dorsey of Pasadena.
