Kaplan-Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home -Kaplan honoring the life of Rochelle Marie Hollier, 17, who died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Romero, Caleb Hollier, Jesse Hernandez, Robert LeMay, Spencer Clayton and D.J. Harrington. She is survived by her mother, Tessia Broussard LeBouef and her husband, Quinten of Maurice; her father, Jeffery Hollier of Forked Island; her paternal grandparents, Wilson Hollier of Forked Island and Mary McMellon of Intracoastal City; maternal grandparents, Harold and Marlene Broussard of Kaplan, Claudette Simon of Sunset and Darwin LeBouef of Kaplan; two brothers, Dylan and Blake Hollier; one sister, Valerie LeBouef; godfather, Shane Romero of Kaplan; godmother, Tandra Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Fernand and Mable Broussard and Edier and Beulah Trahan; her cousins, Jon Hollier, Matt Trahan and Duke McMellon. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Iberia Bank to help defray medical and funeral expenses. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, September 28, from 8 a.m. until services.

3704 Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Hollier, Sr., 61, of Port Neches passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital of Beaumont. He was born May 13, 1949 to Jean Peters Hollier and Ivan Earl Hollier in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of the Port Arthur area. Ronnie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1968. He served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War era. Ronnie retired from Chevron after 26 years of service. He was affiliated with St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Monday, November 1, 2010 from Noon to 3 p.m. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with Msgr. Dan Malain, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Earl Hollier and his brother, Donald Donnie Hollier. He is survived by his mother, Jean Hollier of Port Neches, his daughters, Lori Ortiz and husband Thomas of Nederland, Jennifer Cardenas and husband Jay of Nederland, Brittany Hollier of Dallas, his sons, Ronald L. Ronnie Hollier, Jr. and wife Latorshia of Port Neches and Ryan Hollier of Vidor along with seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Bobby Hollier of Orange, Texas along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

SUNSET ~ Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Mr. Ronald James Breaux, age 65, who passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence in Carencro.

Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. The Rev. Ryan Post, pastor of Assembly of God Northside, will officiate at the services.

Mr. Breaux was a native and lifelong resident of Sunset. He was employed as a self-contracted long-haul truck driver.

Survivors include two brothers, Carl Breaux and his wife, Jennifer, and Randy Breaux and his wife Rebecca, all of Sunset; three sisters, Rose Marie Mere and her husband, Robert, of Lafayette, Melinda Breaux of Scott, and Pam Arceneaux of Carencro; fifteen nieces and nephews, and his godson, Phil Breaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Joseph Breaux and the former Mary Joyce Hollier; and one brother, Roland "Bubba" Howard Breaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Carl Breaux, Phillip Breaux, Jeremey Breaux, Randy Breaux, Jordan Arceneaux, and Richard Mire. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Cormier.

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Friday, July 27, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Rose Mae Guidry Hollier 92, who passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012, at Courtyard Manor Nurse Care Center & Assisted Living. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday and continue at 8:00 am until 9:30 am on Friday. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert at 6:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be Faith "Nikki" Hollier, Melissa Hollier, and Crystal Hollier. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Hollier was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and an original member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas - Court St. Paul 1434, and was also a member of the Bonin-Thibodeaux V.F.W. Post 4215 in Breaux Bridge. In earlier years she enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. She loved to cook and get together with family and friends to play poker, as well as taking trips to the local casinos. Rose Mae loved life and lived it to the fullest and treasured the many times she could spend with her grandsons and great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Earl Gabriel 'Sonny' Hollier Jr., and his wife, Aline, of Breaux Bridge; three grandsons, Robert Hollier and his wife, Faith "Nikki", Royce Hollier and his wife, Melissa, and Reggie Hollier and his wife, Crystal; and two great grandchildren, Rhett Hollier and Elise Hollier. She is preceded in death by her parents Marine and Estelle Blanchard Guidry; her husband, Earl Gabriel Hollier, Sr.; her son, Lowell James Hollier; her sister, Levie Guidry; and her adopted brother, Anthony Blanchard. Pallbearers will be her three grandsons, Robert, Royce, and Reggie Hollier, Willis "Nicky" Guidry Jr., Brian Guidry, and Darwin Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Elwood Hollier and Felix "Peco" Castille. 3718 Ruby Perry Hollier passed away on August 15, 2013 at her home in Pearcy. She was born August 25, 1931 in St. Francisville, Louisiana to Alden Munson and Lavina Ford Perry. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love, compassion, and support were a blessing to all. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph H. Hollier of Pearcy; her children, Karla Williams, Kaye Kirkwood, and husband Ken Kirkwood, and Perry Hollier. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and extended family members including Billy Williams. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Russell Andrew Hollier, 74, who died on Friday, June 1, 2012 at his residence in Lafayette surrounded by his family.

Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum.

Reverend Monsignor Paul Metrejean will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Jenci Hollier and Sarah Hollier. Giftbearers will be Allyson Hollier, Ainsli Hollier, Mary Ann Thibodeaux, Barbara Gautreaux, Ramona Benton and Mary Hollier. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing "Ave Maria", "Amazing Grace", "You Raise Me Up" and "The Rose" for the services.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty M. Hollier; three sons, Michael Blaine Hollier and his wife Therese, David Scott Hollier and his wife Vallie and Anthony Gary Hollier; five grandchildren, Allyson Hollier, Ainsli Hollier, Michael Hollier Jr. , Sarah Hollier and Jenci Hollier; three sisters, Mary Ann Thibodeaux, Barbara Gautreaux and Ramona Benton; and one brother, Robert L. Hollier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Andrew and Agnes DeJean Hollier.

A native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of Lafayette for most of his life, Russell Hollier proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army National Guard. He was a Certified Public Accountant and was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. He loved fishing and golfing, having won numerous awards in both sports. Russell was a very special person and he will be missed by his brother and sisters, close friends, associates, valued clients, children and grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Blaine Hollier, David Scott Hollier, Anthony Gary Hollier, Robert L. Hollier, Sidney Thibodeaux, E. J. Gautreaux and Michael Hollier Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his four granddaughters, Jenci Hollier, Allyson Hollier, Ainsli Hollier and Sarah Hollier; two daughter-in-laws, Therese Hollier and Vallie Hollier; special close friends, Chad Hollier, Sidney Benton, Pat Broussard, Pat Barousse and Janis Tribe; and the many valued clients he enjoyed working with over the years.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of Hospice of Acadiana, for their kindness, compassion and gentle care given to Mr. Hollier and his family during their time of need.

3727 Ruth L. Hollier, 82, of Navasota, passed away Friday, March 28th at Navasota Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 15, 1931 to Charles and Jessie Gridley.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 7th at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial, Houston, Texas at 10:00am. The Rev. Henry Sanders will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Hollier is survived by her sons Darren and Dewhite Hollier; sisters Barbara Jean Hollier and Sharon Hollier, both of Louisianna; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Conrad Hollier and sons Karl and Kevin Hollier.
