Both Luc Claude and Jacques Noel and their sons were in the cattle business. Their separate cattle brands are recorded in the Brand Book in 1775 in St. Martinville (Post des Attakapas).     Died:
    In Julitte's probate records, the petition of Isidore and Furcy Hollier dated 30 Nov 1826 states "that Julie Desbordes widow Luc Hollier, the mother of your petitioners, lately departed this life in said Parish, where she has left her Estate". Based on this and other information in her probate, her date of death is sometime between 12 August 1824 and 30 Nov 1826, but most likely close to the 1826 date since her death would have prompted Isidore and Furcy to unseal their mother's will.
